Christian Eriksen has emerged as a proper and important outfit for Manchester United. The Danish international has produced outstanding display on a consistent basis.
This is something which Paul Pogba lacked during his spell at Old Trafford. Although his talent is unquestionable, Pogba was often criticized for lack of consistency in a red shirt.
According to The Guardian, the Frenchman arrived at Manchester United for a fee worth around £90 million pounds, thereby breaking the club’s record to become Manchester United’s most expensive signing.
He did not live up to his standards until his departure at the end of the 2021/22 campaign. The 29-year-old left the Red Devils as a free agent to rejoin Juventus.
Pogba made 233 appearances, scoring 39 goals with 54 assists. This includes his unforgettable two goals against Manchester City which sealed a 3-2 victory for the Red Devils.
The arrival of Eriksen has sparked light all around Manchester United. The former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder has displayed outstanding performances in all matches he was involved in. He is making more contributions compared to the Pogba given that he arrived at United as a free-agent.
This also includes his outing against the Gunners which saw Manchester United seal a 3-1 victory, as previously reported by United Radar.
Eriksen provided an assist for the second goal and he was also involved in the build up for the third goal which was strucked home by Marcus Rashford.
The 30-year-old is expected to improve the team even further during the course of the campaign. It is no doubt that he has brought new dynamics in the middle of the park.
