Manchester United has officially unveiled Antony as the latest signing, Daily Mail understands.
The €100 million transfer fee of Antony broke the Eredivise record. The switch to Old Trafford becomes the highest transfer record in the Eredivise.
Ajax rejected the initial fee worth €80 million during the course of last week. United Radar reported that the Amsterdam based club reached an agreement on Sunday after Manchester United tabled €100 million.
Antony scored 24 goals and provided 22 assists in 82 outings for Ajax. He has spent over two years with ten Hag, winning two Eredivise League titles.
The trasnfer will see the Brazillian international reuniting with his former boss from Ajax – Erik ten Hag. Antony becomes the fifth signing for Manchester United after the arrival of Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Carlo Casemiro.
Martin Dubravka is on the verge of joining the Red Devils on a long season loan. He is set to become the sixth signing for Erik ten Hag.
Manchester United will go head-to-head with Leicester City away at King Power Stadium on Thursday evening. The former Amsterdam based forward could make his remarkable debute in a red shirt.
