Casemiro has agreed to join Manchester United. It is a matter of time before the transfer is finalized. Official announcement is expected today from Manchester United.

Real Madrid and Manchester United have reportedly agreed a transfer fee worth €60 million plus €10 million ad-ons for Casemiro. The Brazillian international will leave Spain after spending eight years with the Los Blancos.

According to Caught Offside, Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti stated:

“I spoke with him this morning. He wants to try a new challenge, a new opportunity.

“The club understands him for what he has done and for the person he is. There are negotiations, nothing is official, but his will to get out of it is clear. If there is an agreement, we have resources to replace it.”

“My plans are not gonna change with Casemiro leaving as we have Modrić, Kroos, Tchouaméni, Ceballos, Fede Valverde, Camavinga”.

Ancelotti added that: “[s]ix midfielders are enough for this season. They’re very, very good”.

“Casemiro will not play on Saturday. Replacement? We have signed Tchouaméni and he’s one of the best on the market. Then we have Kroos and Camavinga.

“Yesterday I realised it was a real thing [Casemiro to Man Utd]. My plans won’t change”.

The Madrid based midfielder looks set to join Manchester United as he wants new challenge. Casemiro will join midfield trio that includes Christian Eriksen and Bruno Fernandes.
