Casemiro has successfully completed his move to Manchester United, United Radar understands.
The English giants secured the signature of Casemiro for a deal worth £60 million plus ad-ons. The Brazillian international completed his medical during the course of Sunday.
Casemiro will earn around £280,000 wage on a four year contract. He is set to become Erik ten Hag’s fourth signing following the arrivals of Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez.
The 30-year-old will not feature in the fixture against Liverpool this evening. Manchester United could unveil the player before kick-off, similar to the introduction of Raphael Verane at the start of the 2021/22 campaign.
The iconic unveiling of Verane saw him appear at Old Trafford with a Manchester United jersey at kick-off. This uplifted the home crowd and it is no doubt that a similar approach could be planned for the introduction of Casemiro.
The addition of Frankie de Jong has not been ruled out despite the arrival of Casemiro. Manchester United are reportedly pushing to sign Antony and Cody Gakpo from Ajax and PSV Eindhoven respectively.
Erik ten Hag army will now turn attention to the fixture against Liverpool.
