Christian Eriksen is enjoying life under Erik ten Hag at Manchester United. The Denmark international scored a brace when he curled a freekick in a friendly match against Wrexham.

According to Manchester Evening News, ten Hag’s men faced Wrexham in a behind-closed-door friendly match in a bid to improve fitness of senior players ahead of the upcoming campaign.

The scoresheet included amongst others, Alex Telles, Ahmad, Alejandro Garnacho including Eriksen’s freekick. Cristiano Ronaldo was reportedly watching the match and was impressed. Another latest arrival Lisandro Martinez was also handed his first runout in the first-half.

ManUtd.com revealed that Eriksen will wear no.14 previously wore by Jesse Lingard who came from the United Academy. Eriksen will be hoping to start against Atletico Madrid in Oslo before appearing at Old Trafford against Rayo Vallecona.
