Manchester United players shine during Portugal outing in the UEFA Nations League. This includes, amongst others, Diogo Dalot, Bruno Fernandes and Cristiano Ronaldo as reported by Manchester United.
Dalot was the star performer on the day. The in form right-back scored on the 32nd minute from close range.
Cristiano on the other hand found himself in good positions to score in the first-half but the all-time leading goal scorer could not convert his chances.
Cristiano was also spotted with blood on his face after he collided with Czech Republic goalkeeper. This is a concern for the Red Devils following the injury of Rashford and Martial.
Portugal dominated the half while Czech Republic also came close to scoring on few occasions.
Bruno Fernandes scored a second goal for Portugal on the stroke of half-time from a quality cross by Bernado Silva.
On stoppage time, Ronaldo conceded a penalty when he accidentally handled the ball from a corner kick. However, Patrik Schick missed from the spot-kick.
Dalot scored a brace from long range in the second-half to make it 3-0. This was his second goal for his national side.
On the 82nd minute, Ronaldo served Diogo Jota with an assist and the latter headed home to make it 4-0.
