Arsenal succumbed to a 3-1 loss at the hands of the Red Devils at Old Trafford.

The visitors won all five of their opening fixtures in the Premier League. A trip to Old Trafford was no doubt the biggest test for the away side.

Manchester United started on the front-foot in the first-half. The Red Devils dominated the first ten times, which was followed by the Gunners dominance.

Gabriel Martinelli had a goal disallowed for a foul. Celebrations of the Gunners where cut short by VAR decision.

Cristiano Ronaldo was introduced in the second-half shortly after the visitors equalized. He was subbed off for the debutant – Antony.

The 20-times Premier League champions clenched the lead with a brace from Antony Santos in the 35th minute. The Brazillian international scored his remarkable goal on debute.

Arsesal had majority of possession but were kept at bay until half-time whistle.

Marcus Rashford scored the second goal on the 66th minute following an assist from Christian Eriksen. The English international scored his second goal, courtesy to a quality pass by Bruno Fernandes.

The Red Devils defended until the final whistle to clench a 3-1 victory. Manchester United humble Arsenal, thanks to goals by Antony and Rashford.

This win takes Manchester United to the fifth spot on the league table, and three points behind the leaders – Arsenal.
