Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford was heavily linked with a move to PSG. According to Daily Mail, the Paris based club initiated talks with United for the transfer of Marcus Rashford.
The English international came from Manchester United academy. He scored two goals against Arsenal in his debut in the year 2016. The 24-year-old has since become a regular starter at Old Trafford.
The prolific striker has 59 goals and 32 assists in 205 appearances in a red shirt. Although he had a forgettable season during the 2021/22 campaign, PSG are keen to bring Rashford to Paris. The news unfolded during the course of the week.
Manchester United has no intention of selling the player. In a press conference ahead of the fixture against Brentford, Erik ten Hag stated:
“Rashford is really important, you have seen from the first day – I am really happy with him and definitely don’t want to lose him.
“Rashford is in our plans. He will stay at Manchester United”.
Marcus has one year left on his contract and the interest from PSG is no surprise. For United, the player is important for the project of the club and he will likely stay in Manchester.
