The new signing of Manchester United – Tyrell Malacia held an exclusive interview with on Wednesday midday. The young star made his dream move to Old Trafford after spending years at Feyenoord.
Amongst other things, the Dutch international highlighted his blessing in disguise for failure to join Club Brugge, only to sign for Manchester United later.
According to Manchester Evening News, Tyrell Malacia said:
“You eventually learn to deal with setbacks,” Malacia uttered. “I wanted to go to Club Brugge”.
“That did not go through and I resigned myself to that. You could say now that it is good that I did not go to Brugge then”.
Tyrell Malacia arrived in England for a fee worth around £13 million plus ad-ons. His new boss praised him during the course of July in the transfer window. Ten Hag said:
“I think he’s the modern left-back or full-back. He suits the profile [we were looking for] and most important from every full-back is that he closes the right area.
The boss added: “He can also take part in the offensive side of our game, and he can do that really well. I think he will really contribute to the team”.
