The Citizens will take on Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday midday. Marcus Rashford held held an interview after he was announced as the Premier League Player of the Month as reported by Manchester United.

Rashford said: “My favourite moment from September was probably an assist, actually”.

“[It was for] Antony scoring his first goal on his debut. I think that was a massive moment. It gave us strength and courage. Seeing him come into the team and score a goal straightaway is massively important.

“I think it also helps with him settling into a new club, with new surroundings. Scoring goals is the best way to help that so I was very happy he scored that goal and we went on to win the game [against Arsenal] too.”

“Yeah, I think just being able to affect the game in terms of scoring or assisting is important, as is doing all the other stuff in the game” Marcus alluded.

“You’re in the positions where you can influence a game in that aspect, more often than other players.

“It’s important for us to stay close together and try to get bodies in the box, get shots off at goal and work the keeper”.
