Manchester United face Omonia in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday evening as reported by United Radar. Erik ten Hag held an interview ahead of the Eurpoean encounter.
The Red Devils are coming from a 6-3 humiliation at the hands of their noisy neighbors Manchester City. It is no doubt that the Dutchman will look forward to bounce back in Cyprus.
Speaking to MUTV, when asked about the setback on Sunday, the boss said: “It’s a game we played good opponent, they gave us lessons and we have to face we didn’t do well on Sunday”.
Erik ten Hag spoke on the UEFA Europa League fixture: “Yeah it’s Europe, it’s always a different approach but it’s also difficult. I also played before there and I played in a stadium, I played against an opponent”.
“We have to be ready for that”, ten Hag added. “We have to be ready for a team that is well motivated and that plays on the front foot. For them it’s a game of their lives so we have to be ready for that and play our game”.
Erik ten Hag added that: “We need a win, and we need two wins but start with one. We always go from game to game and we have to win every game. That is the standard of Man United”.
Erik said he will use the win against Sheriff as the example when approaching the next fixtures: “Not only European games, all games. We want to dominate, to dictate, so that it for every game our approach. That will not change”.
