The Amsterdam based club – Ajax rejected a bit worth €90 million from Manchester United. The Dutch team have reportedly labeled the offer as “not enough”.
Ajax had previously rejected an initial €60 million bid earlier in the week.
In the event that Manchester United comes with an improved offer, the deal will see the Brazillian international making a switch to Old Trafford and reuniting with his former boss – Erik ten Hag.
Antony has been a big target for the Red Devils all summer. The 22-year-old reportedly pushed a switch to England by missing both the training session and Sunday fixture respectively.
The transfer of Hakim Ziyech to Ajax is also decisive in the deal for Antony. The Moroccan international is deemed a possible replacement for Antony.
Meanwhile the English giants have not ruled out the possibilities of bringing Frankie de Jong and Cody Gakpo. Although speculations for the latter have cooled down.
