Ajax has reached an agreement with Manchester United for the transfer of Antony in the weekend. The Amsterdam based forward has been the talking point for Manchester United in the transfer window.

United Radar previously reported that the Brazillian international has shown interest to join the Red Devils. He looks forward to reunite with Erik ten Hag.

At the start of the window, Antony stated: “I will be with you whenever you [ten Hag] need me”. The 22-year-old made this remark upon the departure of ten Hag during the course of June.

The veteran striker has been on Manchester United radar. Ten Hag is eager to bolter his squad after a poor start to the campaign. United board acted quickly following defeats against Brighton & Hove Albion and Brentford respectively. Although the club won against Liverpool and Southampton.

Manchester United initially submitted a bit worth £60 million for Antony – a little shy of his £80 million market value. The 20-time Premier League champions have reportedly submited an increased offer.

The 22-year-old has been pushing for a move to Old Trafford. The player did not attend training session and he missed a fixture against Sparta Rotterdam on Sunday in a bid to force a move to England.

The player has long agreed personal terms with Manchester United. He will soon travel to England to complete his medical.

The Red Devils will turn attention to Thursday’s fixture against Leicester City amid the transfer of Antony.
