Talks between Manchester United and Ajax have slowed down in recent weeks. According to The Athletic, the English giants relaunched a bit worth £67 million for the Brazilian on Wednesday. Ajax rejected the offer because he is integral to the team.
The player has made it clear that he wants to reunite with Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford and the feeling is mutual from the Dutchman. Ten Hag knows the player well as the pair spend a spell of success at Ajax.
It remains to be seen whether Manchester United will submit an improved offer in a bid to bring Antony to the Theatre of Dreams.
