The news have come thick and fast for Manchester United in the last 24 hours. Brighton & Hove Albion caused an upset at Old Trafford by securing a victory over the home side. The hierarchy of the club watched from the stands only to witness a disjointed performance by United.

On Monday, Sky Sports confirmed that Manchester United and Juventus agreed for the transfer of Adrien Rabiot. Sources labeled the move as a “panic buy” in a bid to solve midfield woes.

A forgettable display by Fred Rodriguez and Scott McTominay in the middle was evident on Sunday. It is no doubt that the performance of the pair made the board to react quickly in the transfer.

According to Manchester Evening News, the club quickly turned their attention to Juventus midfielder. The Italian side reportedly had no issue to sell the player. Accordingly, the transfer is now subject to personal terms of the player and his agent. This surprising deal could be finalized in the coming hours.

Sky Sports further reported that the signature of Rabiot will not rule out the transfer of Frankie de Jong as the club continue to pursue the Catalan playmaker.

Marko Arnautovic scored 14 league goals for Bologno FC in the Serie A and Manchester United is desperate to bring the striker to Old Trafford

Manchester United had their bid rejected by Bologna FC for Marko Arnautovic just munites after the final whistle on Sunday as reported by The Sun. The former West Ham striker has not played in the Premier League for almost three years. He scored 14 goals last season in the Serie A.

The former right-back of Manchester United took his stance on the club’s interest to sign Arnautovic:

“I don’t know, I have no comment”, Neville told Sky Sports. “I’ve got a comment on everything in the world apart from Man United trying to sign Marko Arnautovic, I’ve got nothing to say”.

Frustrations from Manchester United are clear because their bitter rivals have signed world-class strikers. This includes, amongst others, Liverpool and Manchester City who signed Darwin Nunez and Erling Haaland respectively.

United are expected to submit an improved bid for Arnautovic. The club hopes to bring Rabiot to Old Trafford.
