The newly appointed manager of Manchester United Erik ten Hag is said to be desperate to bolster his defense with the signature of Lisandro Martinez.
The Dutchman stated, during his press conference in Thailand, that the club is working to add new faces in the window. The English giants registered their worst defensive record in the 2021/22 campaign and it is no doubt that a center back is a priority.
Manchester United representatives are reportedly set to meet with Ajax hierarchy on Wednesday to discuss the transfer fee. The Red Devils had initially submitted a bit worth £42 million for Martinez – a little shy of his £46m market value.
