WHATS THE TEAMS NEWS?

Anthony Martial missed the opening match of the Premier League against Brighton & Hove Albion. The Frenchman was ruled out with a “minor” hamstring injury. It is still doubtful whether Martial will be fit to feature on Saturday.

Cristiano Ronaldo missed pre-season fixtures except the last friendly match against Rayo Valecano. The Portuguese international did not start in the opening fixture against Brighton & Hove Albion due to lack of match fitness. The 37-year-old forward was introduced within five minutes of the second-half and United lost 2-1 to the Seagulls. It is interesting to see whether Erik ten Hag will start Ronaldo in London.

Jadon Sancho and Luke Shaw will be available for selection after the pair recovered from illnesses before the Brighton fixture. Erik ten Hag has no further injury worries.
